New Car Smell Rocks My World

2000 honda civic lx ruby red My dad just bought me a new Honda Civic LX. Good deal, good price, all good. It was like $15,000 something. But of course, excluding all that what, license and taxes what not bs, and it’s a 2002 model. Wonderful. All thanks to the government and the military. My dad’s retirement and some government sponsored school funding thing helped make this possible. My dad is planning on buying his ‘true’ dream car, a Beamer, next year, although we already have one, it’s a very OLD model and it was used and well….not in very good condition. Let’s just say you don’t want to be driving on the freeway with it, it’s not very dependable. Rating: crap. And then we have our Chev Camaro that’s a year older than me (19 yrs), and it’s our only automatic car…so that’s why it’s useful, but then again, that car’s broken down so many times it’s time to send it packing. So we’re looking to sell those 2 cars or whatever very, very, very soon. Damn my dad sure did worked that salesman though, got some bank funding incentive stuff, and whatever…yeah, we got it @ Tipton Honda in El Cajon. Cheaper over there, and today was the last day for this sale. I’m pretty pleased…although disappointed they didn’t carry it in any blue color, this ‘radiant ruby pearl’ will do. It was either that or some plain white or silver-ish color. But everyone has silver nowadays….and white is just….well, blah. I think I prefer driving the Integra though….the stick feels much more…I don’t know, stick-like. These new cars drive so smoothly it’s like you’re not even controlling the darn thing. Oh well….I’ll get used to it. Good thing Jon B. pays for his own car and stuff. Maybe he’ll be nice this Christmas and get me a spoiler. Nah…that’s asking for too much, he’s got too much shit to pay for by himself already.
