White vs. Black-For the past 7 weeks or so, BET’s 106 & Park has beaten MTV’s TRL in TV ratings. Isn’t that crazy? I mean, MTV came up with TRL first, and it became pretty popular and what have you. Then they also have MTV Cribs, which is pretty cool and has a lot of people envying musicians and celebrities. Then here comes BET totally biting both ideas and just kicking ass and taking names.
I don’t like the idea of people copying someone elses idea and then like, getting all the credit for it. Obviously it’s not the same exact situation, but it just brings that to my attention. I don’t care for TRL and 106 & Park much anyway….I myself watch 106 & Park because that’s the type of music I listen to. TRL has like, punk, alternative, and all that other stuff. Not really too interested in that.
