Are the Chargers going to take a step back if we start the new season with Rivers as our starting QB? There’s a lot of rumors going around that GM Smith isn’t even interested in keeping Brees around because of his shoulder and the fact that Rivers is his ‘boy.’ Then you’ve got that situation in Detroit where they have all the salary cap space in the world and are going to be one of the only teams spending a whole lot this offseason. They, like many other teams, are looking for a QB in particular. I guess I’d have concerns too if a guy is coming off major shoulder surgery but then Brees shouldn’t even have been put in that situation where he was hurt. I’m biased towards Breezy because I’ve come to like the guy… I watch his little interviews on channel 4 where they follow him around to his house and shit, and all the NFL Total Access stuff. What are the Chargers going to do?

Threadless.com usually has these themed sales every once in awhile and when they do, I always jump on the chance to buy their tees (one they're out, they're out, unless fans demand a reprint)
ive come to like brees too, but i dont think he’s worth the 9mil + signing bonus or whatever the neogotiations are. if they do sign him i think it should be for way less. even if the chargers are one of the few teams in the afc that is expecting to be under their salary cap and they could probably afford to sign him. it might just end up a waste like chad pennington of the jets.
