UFC’s Ultimate Fighter season 3 is for quitters

Forgot to blog about the Ultimate Finale for UFC’s Ultimate Fighter Saturday night. That season was disappointing for both the fighters and UFC I bet. It was disappointing for the fighters because they weren’t challenged enough. Take Ken Shamrock’s team for example. Dana White even said at the end of the show how it seemed like Shamrock just showed up. Tito Ortiz criticized Shamrock for being selfish and using the show for camera time, while he, on the otherhand, taught his team everything he learned while in the sport.
Before this season, I was a Ken Shamrock fan just because he fought out of San Diego (Lion’s Den). Plus he his character was pretty cool the brief time he was at the WWF (WWE). But after watching the season I saw a different person, someone who took way too many blows to the head to think straight. (That reminds me, Randy Couture’s ears are so fucked up looking its gross. They’re like permanently swollen and shit)![]()
Then you’ve got guys who ‘quit’ in their fights. Noah left the show to see his drama girlfriend of 2 months after he had already won his first match. Everybody was pissed about that. Because one of those British guys couldn’t fight anymore, another loser was needed to fill his spot, and both Tait and ? refused Dana White’s offer to come back. Tait’s reasoning was that he wasn’t mentally prepared and the other guy was something dealing with physical readiness or injury, not too sure. Also, Rory admitted giving up in his second fight and Ortiz was mad about it calling him a quitter.
I was rooting for Rory just because he seemed like a cool guy and he wasn’t a slob. I was also rooting for the Hawaiian guy and Mr. Harry Potter. I hated that Matt guy, the one with the hearing disability or whatever. That episode where he gets a translator or whatever was stupid. Anyway… I wanna watch the pay-per-view featuring Ortiz vs. Shamrock.

Shamrock is a perennial standing 8 count these days. This is a last ditch attempt for him to cash in on one more big payday before he hangs em up. I got Tito winning by unanimous decision. Put your picks up for 61 on my blog.
