Comeback after mega creeps in DOTA

the map image for dota 6.34If you don’t know, DOTA is a popular custom map for WarCraft 3. I was playing a public game of DOTA 6.34 and my team managed something I’ve never seen done in a pub game - win despite only having the throne left.

They had 1 extra team member, they had mega creeps, they had 1 only of their raxes destroyed compared to our lone throne. It was an All Random/Easy Mode game and dark green left immediately after his hero was chosen, the Ogre Magi.

I was a Holy Knight whilst my teammates were Rogue Knight, Vengeful Spirit, and Naix. On the Sentinel team were Drow Ranger, Slayer, Rock, Earthshaker, and Bristleback. It’s annoying playing handicapped games, and it didn’t help that Naix was acting like a noob dying early. I was threatening to quit because with Naix feeding it would basically be a 5v3 game but then yellow tried acting hard and brown encouraged me to stay.

Glad I did, because they got owned big time. Here’s the replay and some screenshots if you care to watch it. Some of you might be saying we can easily backdoor once we they got megacreeps on us, but we only had 1 of their barracks killed when they finished off our last 1, and we didn’t have a creep push to teleport to anyway.

The funny thing is, once we pushed back their mega creeps, they started backdooring our throne. Shows the desperation. They got money starved and we just pushed down their throats. Not bad for a pub game.
