From ABC News: …multi-tasking didn’t harm the memory during the learning, but appears to make it more difficult to retrieve the memory in the future. The researchers speculate that having distractions around, when you’re trying to make a new memory, causes the distractions to get so tangled up with the memory, that you end up needing the distraction to be able to get the memory back out of storage.
Sooo… Does this mean that when I take a test, Im gonna needa bring a tv, cell fone, an ipod, a computer with internet, and Counter Strike along with a pencil and an eraser just so I can remember what I crammed for the test the nite before? I hope my professors won’t mind…
