It’s Boomba Time! Jesse Jane All-American Girl

Okay… here is the reason why last week’s boomba was MIA (missing in action). First boomba post for a full movie… it’s called Jesse Jane All-American Girl.
You can watch Digital Playground’s Jesse Jane: All-American Girl trailer (NSFW) at their website or view some screen captures from the film (NSFW).
The movie is a zip file split into 3 separate zip files. You’ll need to download all 3 zip files and then unzip the file ending in .zip to get the entire movie. I hope this isn’t a nuisance but it was the least annoying option I could think of (I hate when movies are split up themselves - but this way the movie is still 1 file).
Preferably the best bet is to use WinZip to unzip and DivX to watch (or Windows Media Player 11 is fine).

Yeah, DepositFiles is crap. It took a while, but I finally got it to start but it is very slow. Any chance of putting that part on a better upload service?

I can’t get it to work for some reason. I am on a mac. Is it just not going to work, or am I doing something wrong?
Does anyone know how to unzip it on a Mac. I have been using stuffit expander, but it isn’t working.

Hmm - have downloaded all three bits, but Stuffit just thinks for a moment then acts like it’s done nothing. (Yep, I’m on a Mac, dammit.)

Ok, if you want this to work on your mac do this:
1. Download hjsplit (Just google “file splitter mac” and it will be on the top. Also, make sure you download the java version so it’ll work on your mac)
2. rename the files like this:
1. change .z01 to .001 (say yes to the warning)
2. change .z02 to .002
3. change .zip to .003
3. Use stuffit expander (gotta enter the easydoesituniversity.com password)
4. Enjoy your full length movie!

Struggled for a while finding something to work with OSX, then located MacHacha - job done.
More full-length movies gratefully recieved…but better instructions for technical dopes like myself wouldn’t hurt.
When I go to unzip the zip file it says that the file is invalid or corrupt? Any Ideas?

#16/17. All I can offer is what I said in #8. Sometimes the files are not downloaded fully (this happened to me just this morning through RapidShare).

ok i had the same problem with the corrupted file issue… i then actually downloaded winzip instead of using the basic extraction wizard and it worked… dont know if it helps but it did for me

Megarotic says that my download limit is exceeded, what do I do?
Wait till tomorrow (or like 4 hours later).
Here’s a tip for Megarotic / Megaupload etc. Download a file, after the download finishes and go to the folder where you saved it. Highlight the file you just downloaded and delete it (DONT empty Recycle Bin) now download another file from Megarotic. Keep repeating this, it works about 3-4times before it will say you hit your limit. Now go to recycle bin and restore all the files you deleted. Somehow it bypasses the download limit so you don’t have to wait for 6-8hours and you can happily get more each day! ^_^
I downloaded all 3 sections, correct file sizes, part 1 is 93.7MB .zip file, the other 2 are 300MB .z01 and .z01 files.
When I go to unzip, Winzip says “Please insert disk number 1 of the spanned Zip file into drive C:”
All 3 files are in the same folder, if I click OK it pops up an error saying The diskette in drive C: is labelled **, Winzip expected PKBACK#001*
Do you want to use it anyway?
CLicking Yes throws up Error in file #1: bad Zip file offset

Unless that’s a typo, your problem is that 1 of those should be a .z02 file.
Yep sorry, typo. I’ve got a 97MB .zip file, and the other 2 files are 300MB and z01 and z02
Couple of e-mails I’ve received their problem with that was that they renamed the filenames of the zips.
Otherwise I would try extracting using WinRAR if you have that installed.

I downloaded the z01, z02 successfully from Megarotic. However, somehow I couldn’t download .zip, which you only posted on RapidShare
It kept saying I am already downloading, maybe it is my ISP config of proxy.
