Wii Mii

Taking a liking to my brand new Wii… prefer it much better than the PS3… rented WarioWare and as quirky as it is, it’s pretty entertaining. Can’t wait for Mario Party 8…

I feel sad every time I go into the Wii Shop and look at nostalgia bottled up in that Virtual Console. The price is pretty expensive for an old school game that hasn’t had anything added to it (I guess mapping the original controller buttons to the Wii-mote is that hard or something).

There is already a mod chip available called the Wiinja but cannot confirm the successfulness rate of it (nor do I know anyone who has hacked their Wii).

Nonetheless, there are tutorials out there that say something about using the same hack done to the GameCube to play emulators on the Wii (I had nothing to do with a GameCube so I’m lost on that). Have yet to try them.

I’m sad that my original X-Box is all modded up with NES/Super NES/SMS/Sega Genesis ROMs by the 100’s and 2 video game system generations later I’m back to square 1 (maybe I should just dust it up again).

But there are videos on YouTube of people using the Wii and the Wii-mote for DJing (LOL @ techno beat/raving).

Wii would like to mingle?

WTF no online games!?!?! Weak sauce.. I always thought you could play one. Guess I got the DS mixed up. Oh well I’m still getting one. Every store near me doesn’t have one!
