Why do inmates beat up on child molesters anyway? It’s not like they are any worst than anyone else sharing a prison cell with them. They’re all ‘bad.’

Threadless.com usually has these themed sales every once in awhile and when they do, I always jump on the chance to buy their tees (one they're out, they're out, unless fans demand a reprint)
Child molesters in prison are considered the lowest form of crime since they dont do real stuff like break in somewhere or beat someones ass. Instead, they pick on defenseless kids. Therefore, inmates consider them too weak to be in prison in the first place.
In addition to that, I have heard that a lot of the inmates have daughters and children of their own. Therefore, they kick the shit out of child molestors as a way of protecting their kids while they’re stuck helplessly on the inside.
Both points make a lot of sense.
